How to Become an Elegant Woman

Many women want to be seen by others as elegant women. To be elegant means to be pleasingly graceful, stylish in appearance, and have good manners. Here are some tips and steps to help you change your look and be seen as an elegant woman.

THINK ELEGANTLY.

If you want to change your look and demeanor, start thinking of yourself the way you want to be perceived. Carry yourself gracefully and in a ladylike manner. Sit and stand with thorough poise. Above all, never think about yourself in a negative way. If you have made a mistake, apologize and repent and then let it go. Do not let repentance, sadness or insecurity take over your life. To be elegant, you must be esteemed. So think elegantly and let your sophistication flow with you!

Be mindful of poise and deportment.

Taking up ballet or ballroom dancing will help you to keep your poise and body deportment in check. Practice sitting up straight regularly. Never have significantly unsophisticated posture, but take some moments to yourself to relax. Try not to stress yourself considerably, even though elegant posture is necessary. Pull your shoulders slightly back, lift your head up a little, straighten your back, and walk like that! Other people will be considerably impressed at the way you carry yourself. Remember that even one hour of having good posture can impress fifty people. Work on it.

Take pride in your appearance. Wearing a nice dress from time to time can help. It’s nice to wear skirts more often but make sure your skirts or shorts aren’t too short. Always feel good about your dress codes.

Take care of your body.

Having good hygiene is very important. Take good care of your hair. Use conditioner to keep your hair healthy. Brush your teeth and use deodorant, so that you smell fragrant and fresh. You can wear up-dos some days that are nice and sophisticated.

Use makeup and foundations that appear natural.

Use concealer, foundation, and powder that are close to your skin tone, so that you look fresh and not tacky. Use a natural- colored eye shadow and lipstick – nothing too bright or gaudy. Eyeliner and mascara should not be used excessively. Understand that your wardrobe is also very important to the way people see you. If your garments are unrefined, people will naturally think of you as unrefined. If you wear elegant, sophisticated clothes, other people will take you to be the elegant lady you are. Dress in classic colors like beige, red, navy blue, emerald green, white, and pink champagne. Other elegant color combinations include blue and gold, pink and white, and white and teal sea-foam. Keep it simple. Do not use clothes that are too heavy with a lot of details and patterns.

Stay classy.

Do not wear clothes that reveal too much skin, are too tight, or use materials that look low class (Baggy, fuzzy fabric, etc.)( there is nothing wrong with leopard or any other animal print, some women can pull off the look and wear it well). If you dress this way, you may end up looking cheap and/or garish. It may also make you look like you’re trying too hard to be elegant. For an evening party, a formal dress or gown with a bold lipstick color can be a good choice. Choose a neat hairstyle and be sure your clothes look neat. Wear a nice perfume. Use scented perfume that is not too overpowering. Your perfume does not need to be expensive. Perfume that smells like roses or jasmine is very elegant. Stand up straight and do not slouch.

Keep being classy and refined.

A truly elegant lady will always show refinement, grace, and elegance whether they wear jeans or an evening dress. this article will help you to be more refined.

Creativity comes from the inside and this is exactly what Mabel Morgana did! She’s just an icon of entrepreneurship. A French graduate who has done herself so much good in self investment.

Keep good manners at all times. Being an elegant woman is a lifestyle choice rather than simply a style. It is an every day thing. Speak well. Instead of saying “Nice design in your room”, say “The design of your room is refined, intricate and simply lovely”. A truly elegant woman has no need to swear, use vulgar language, or slang.

What a family should be like

Despite the perfect picture families that always seem to loom over us on television, posters and bill boards, there are many more complexities and dynamics to families than all smiles and laughter. All families are different, and all families have their own issues, but with the right amount of work and determination, you can make your family life the very best it can be, by developing your relationships and learning more about yourself and your relatives. No one’s family life is perfect; but you can make yours good, so why not?

Understand your family well. If you don’t then there can be many misunderstandings and fights. Be with them whenever you can and get to know them better. A lot of families now don’t get to know each other too well because they’re too busy. Plan some family time, like, a movie, or a family game, or even as little as eating dinner together.

Respect your family. Your children, your wife/husband are now yours but remember at the end of the day they are also humans. They also have an opinion or suggestion. Sometimes it can be bad or good. Never be angry with someone’s opinion, they have their opinions, and no one’s perfect.

Give time. No one wants to be ignored just for some meeting or work. Give time to each and every one of them so you can understand every individual properly and this can prevent any misunderstandings in the future.

Treat everyone as equal. Whether its your maid or stepchild, they also deserve love and affection from you as you deserve from your wife/husband or from your own child. Treat everyone like you would want to be treated, and getting along with your family should be easy

Never scream or shout at anyone. This can create hatred for you in their hearts. By simply making them understand can do a lot. Why waste energy when you can do it calmly?

Try not to fight with your siblings. Fighting can tear your relationship apart and you’ll regret it when you get older. Treasure the time you have with your siblings, you can’t get it back.

Learn to compromise. When you or someone else in your family wants the total opposite of each other, find a way to work it out to give you all what you want.

Help each other. When you see your sibling or parent needs help, help them. Doing little things such as holding the door for them, or helping someone with homework.

Organizing surprise birthday parties and celebrating any individual’s achievements can really help.
Avoid using offensive and abusive words against each other or your family will get cross and start shouting at you.
Sometimes teenagers can feel sad or lonely. First ask them about it and if they don’t want to share then its OK. It’s just hormones. If you think that something is really bad, ask their close friends and help him/her.

Never ever break any promise. This can hurt them or make them feel that you are a liar and every time will break promises.
Don’t scold too much. Scolding can be good for them but never overdo it.

Make them realize in an easy way. If someone in your family has done something wrong or have betrayed your trust, make them realize their mistake in an easy way. Do not yell or use abusive language.

8. Our brains know how to find our lovers lips Sixty-six per cent of people close their eyes during a kiss. Our brains have special neurons that help us to locate each other’s lips in the dark.
9. It can stop us falling ill There is some evidence, from past studies, to suggest that kissing provides us a means of protecting ourselves from certain viruses.

Mike Adenuga’s Net Worth Increased By $2.7 Billion In 2016, While Dangote’s Decreased By $5billion – See why

Exactly half of Africa’s 20 billionaires got richer in 2016. The continent’s biggest gainer in both dollar and percentage terms  is Nigerian oil and telecom tycoon Mike Adenuga, whose net worth increased $2.7 billion to $5.8 billion since December 31, 2015.  No other African billionaire added more than $1 billion to his or her net worth in the past year. Overall, the combined net worths of African billionaires decreased $3.1 billion in 2016. The increase in Adenuga’s net worth is largely due to new information FORBES obtained in 2016 about the value of his assets. Adenuga owns Nigerian telecom company Globacom and Nigerian oil company Conoil.  While Adenuga’s net worth has increased since the beginning of 2016, it has dropped significantly since March 2016, when FORBES valued his fortune at $10 billion on the 2016 Billionaires List. Since then, his net worth has dropped $4.2 billion, due to the devaluation of the Nigerian Naira and the country’s struggling oil sector.  Adenuga was the only Nigerian billionaire whose net worth increased this year.  (Aliko Dangote, the richest Nigerian and Africa’s richest man, saw his fortune drop nearly 28% to $12.4 billion over the course of 2016.)
After Adenuga, South African mining billionaire, Patrice Motsepe and Egyptian billionaires Nassef Sawiris and Naguib Sawiris were the next biggest gainers in Africa, each adding $500 million to their fortunes over the year.

ADENUGA-DANGOTE

Egypt and South Africa were the only African countries where more than half of the country’s billionaires got richer in 2016. In both, four out of seven billionaires added to their wealth in the past year. In Nigeria, meanwhile, only one of four billionaires got richer this year.
